This year’s focus is the utilization of music\, play and art therapies in the treatment and education of those with developmental disabilities and on the autism spectrum. Through a series of interactive and informative presentations\, given by leaders in the realm of creative therapies\, participants will learn through experiential processes the potential advantages of incorporating these modalities into their sessions and daily practices; including\, but not limited to\, how these techniques can increase motivation\, communication\, social interaction and retention\, as well as the importance of rapport-building.
