Six Autistic individuals Needed. Three who prefer and use Person First Language. Three who prefer and use Identity First Language. \nApply to be a roundtable participant before September 3rd: Apply Here \nApplications for panelists are now being accepted until Friday\, September 3rd. Participants selected\, others who can be alternates and those who were not selected\, will receive an email with my decision on September 20th. Participants chosen must confirm by September 27th or Alternates will be contacted to take their place. If someone chosen or an alternate cannot keep the appointment\, you are asked to notify me by 5pm on October 19th. \nThere will be other Round Table Discussions. If you are not selected for this one\, you can apply for others. Autistic Voices Round Table Discussions will not discriminate against applicants on the basis of age\, race\, language\, religion or no religion at all\, sexual orientation\, gender\, transgender\, nonbinary\, immigration status\, *disability\, employment status or any other reason. *Participants must be Autistic or have Autism\, but we will not discriminate against anyone for other disabilities that may be included. If you require any accommodations\, please tell us in your submission. \nRequirements for Applicant Submission Consideration:\nAll submissions must be received by Friday\, September 3rd.\n1. You must be a Person with Autism or an Autistic Person. You can be self diagnosed or diagnosed by a medical professional.\n2. You must submit in writing what your position about the identity language you use and why it is important to you.\n3. You must be available on October 20th at 2pm Central Standard Time to participate in the discussion.\n4. All participants are volunteers. No compensation will be offered or given.
