Considering living options for your adult child’s future can be daunting. Our January workshop will introduce families to various housing models for young adults, explore the options that might be available and learn about the benefits of shared living and other living options. Bring your questions!

Transition Talks is a series of monthly, virtual workshops hosted by the Perkins Transition Center and industry experts, designed to help you plan your blind or visually impaired young adult’s future after high school. These workshops are open to families from across the country. Throughout the year, we’ll talk about robust topics including the self-determined IEP, housing options, state and federal benefits, guardianship, financial and legal planning and more.
